    On the power tools, they don’t just steal them overnight but when working and anywhere else. At home there was a massive gate which was locked at night along with a lock box in the van to stop thieves. Often they were drug addicts looking for easy money. This was in the 1990s and 2000s.

    I agree with you this government is trying to take everything we have good in our society I think it’s disgusting the little things we have left they trying to take from us there are bigger problems than stolen power tools thieves would least of all sell stolen goods in front of the public they would be sold secretly on that’s the real world people get real don’t touch our boat markets it’s a lovely place to purchase interesting items and keep’s society active stop this controlling government

    Great stuff again. I saw a joblot of items on ebay not so long ago and this shows how you need to put all key words in the description. It was some fishing items but what they omitted was the word Hardy. I just could not believe my eyes. No bids had been made. I slept on it but by the following day it had been taken down and resubmitted with all the key words. It all went on to make more than £550. I have never seen anything like this since.

I absolutely think for the most part similar products, but the most popular vintage hard good items for collectors here are imports, especially mid century.. like Italian pottery, Scandinavian glass and pottery, English fine china and stoneware, and French Limoges porcelain. So as a tradesman who is a part of this so called “mob” I would like to have my view shared. You are completely missing the point of what it is we are trying to achieve. As tradesmen and women who have helped to build this country having means of your livelihood stolen is as you are aware, having been a victim yourself, soul destroying and leaves you with an empty pit at the bottom of your stomach… unfortunately you converting the stolen tools exported statistic from stolen vehicle exportations is quite frankly laughable.. I agree with some things that you said mainly that the police are understaffed and the government are behind certain things.. I can assure you that this “agenda” isn’t some secret ploy from the government to get bootsales shut down certainly not intentionally but for thieves that break into our vans and steal our tools causing thousands upon thousands of pounds worth of damage in the process Bootsales ARE an easy avenue for them to get rid of! Yes online too, but selling hundred and hundreds of tools online is the long game… these guys get in, get what they want and go. They ain’t selling everything online for them to have to wait for their money they’re selling these tools at their convenience at boot sales and markets…. You’re treating this as an attack on bootsales and I’m not afraid to say that you are wrong about this. We are also honest hard working people that have had enough of being pushed to the side with a crime reference number. If bootsales are falling victim to the times we are facing ahead then unfortunately that’s a bitter pill that you are going to have to swallow. You also seem to think that us pushing this means we want a cashless society.. thinking that about tradesmen fighting for a cause shows that you are probably more out of touch then you realise.

    If someone stole your resale bulion youd cry mate. Then youd have to scour the boots to find it. Find receipts from all the lil carboit sales yoi boight it from. And charity shops to prove to the police its yours. Then wait a couple.hours while the suspected theif leaves and your questioned like the criminal before they do anything. 😅 yeh welcome to a broken tradespersons life. @@AntiquesArena I also suffer from dyslexia so had to check myself lol however man to man I'm not sure whether you're doing this video to get traction or draw attention but you're going to be fighting a losing battle as a trade person believe me I'm totally with you on the basis of using cash🤣🤣 but you've got to seriously ask yourself if saying that people not getting arrested means they haven't done any wrong is a sensible statement youve really got to think twice bud

    • @AntiquesArena
      @AntiquesArena 5 днів тому

      @@pointyplumber I actually expect this to cost me a following as I am alienate a lot of trades people. We just lost another car boot sale this week. Thing is you can say people just because they haven’t been arrested doesn’t mean they are not dodgy. In this country we used to be innocent until proven guilty. What you don’t get. The reason I am doing this is their messing with my livelihood now for something I genuinely don’t believe will be affected by a blanket ban on car boot sales. I have done tons of research on this subject this week ready for the pod cast. And the figures are not there. No one is selling 400 pound drills at a boot sale more restrictions on boot sales is genuinely another step to the end of my business leave them alone. That’s why I am doing this. I have a voice and a following so will spread this. Look at it this way. My channel has had 2.5 million views. If people actually agree with you they are going to make their own minds up and if they do agree. Look at the awareness I have generated. Either way I either have a valid argument or I get awareness. Isn’t that a good thing either way ?
